Curious Pictures was founded 15 years ago primarily to serve as a production house catering to mixed media. It has evolved into a full fledged digital production studio that houses directors for a wide variety of skill sets. It is a creative think tank with innovative problem solvers; from full live action comedy, tabletop and stopmotion to amazing 2D and 3D animation direction and everything in between. Their 30,000 square-foot studio in lower Manhattan contains flash and computer animation departments, a 7,500 square-foot shooting stage with motion-capture system, and editing rooms. The company recently won an Emmy for the main title sequence for Bored to Death.
